Nb. Perhaps the most significant  essay for the future of East-West relations in the 21st century is that by Robert D. Kaplan, "How We Would Fight China" in Atlantic Monthly, June 2005. See http://altinfo.blogspot.com/search/label/China. If the mentality and 'vision' behind this article are allowed to prevail in foreign affairs, the outlook for the world will be bleak indeed. Those of good will in both East and West who would wish to prevent Kaplan's demonic vision from becoming reality need to ask themselves how mankind can avoid the deadly logic of the mind games in which the Kaplans of this world would imprison us.
